Chat chat chat!
More than just a chat bot. Early prototypes used the envoy icon to open an oversized menu—fun, but ultimately intrusive. As we iterated, the menu became smaller and more intentional. We realized the envoy’s menu needed to be modular, able to adapt to screens where a Envoy interface isn’t the primary focus.

Not a friend
To preserve the idea that the envoy is a tool—not a person—the early pixel‑creature concepts were charming but too specific. They implied personality, required dedicated space, and introduced accessibility concerns. Shifting to a simple blob solved this: it’s customizable, universally readable, and able to live comfortably on any screen without demanding attention.

The Talk
After talking with the founders we cam up with the Mission after some back and forth we cam up with thie "Our brand empowers everyday users to take control of their digital identity by crafting personas that reflect their conscious experience, social connections, and capacity to create meaning. Through trust, accessibility, and joyful design, we transform how people interact with the web, giving them freedom to decide what information they share, and with whom. We build tools, systems, and communities that scale while staying human, weaving a tapestry of identities that are expressive, transparent, and empowering." useing this statment I put together several Tag lines to sum up the statment in a couple of lines group consensis was "Its your story, you should be the one to tell it" Knowing all this we could dive into Archetypes to start pulling from to build a color pallette and a looo

Inspiration
A logo can carry an enormous amount of meaning, and for Human.ing I wanted that meaning to center on user agency—the idea that people should be able to shape and control their own story online. I started by pulling directly from the mission statement, focusing on the themes that felt essential to the brand: everyday users, freedom, communities, and weaving a tapestry. My first direction explored the symbolism of the Three Fates from Greek mythology. Their connection to self‑determined destiny aligned well with Human.ing’s message, and the trio offered a subtle nod to community. Visually, it also created an opportunity to reference a loom—an inherently human tool for weaving stories and identity. Of course, first ideas rarely survive untouched. After a full exploratory dump, I refined the strongest concepts through multiple iterations. What emerged was a mark that still honors the tapestry metaphor but expresses it more cleanly: a stitched, woven variation of the letter H that captures both structure and humanity.

Solved
By establishing the Envoy as a tool, not a pseudo‑human assistant. This meant designing its presence to be calm, supportive, and visually distinct from human communication patterns.
The Blob allow the user to physically interact with the envoy make it more tangible so it feel like its there with them and not a person on the other end of the line
This gumdrop‑shaped blob became the emotional anchor — friendly, expressive, and unmistakably non‑human. Its form, motion, and glow were crafted to feel alive without ever implying personality or personhood.
Conclusion
The Envoy became a clear, non‑human companion Through careful design, the agent now feels present without being intrusive, helpful without feeling human, and expressive without crossing emotional boundaries.
Brand and product now reinforce each other The unified design language ties every module back to Human.ing’s core values — clarity, connection, and trust — creating a platform that feels both technically strong and emotionally grounded.
